Experimented with the basic muffin technique today. Spooned a third of a teaspoon of drained peppercorns pickled in vinegar into each half-filled muffin case, then dusted each filled muffin with a generous grind of black pepper before baking. Served alongside a tray of maple-glazed bacon.
